Winterizing Your Yard and Garden

I have begun to winterize my yard and garden. Small statues and figurines I bring inside. You don't really have to, it just makes them less apt to be damaged with the freezing and thawing. I also have several tropical plants around the patio and pond. We live in zone 5, so they cannot tolerate that much cold. While some of the plants actually come in the house, others go to the basement. Remember to spray them first with an insectisidal soap to remove any bugs and spiders. Large potted plants might need to be inspected for snakes and mice, etc.
