One Project at a Time

Adding beauty to your garden decor can be done several ways, and it will be probably be different for each of us. You can add plants, trees, objects, water features. Beauty is indeed "in the eye of the beholder". (and the pocketbook)!
Look down the road and see the "big picture" maybe you can transform your yard/garden slowly, especially if you have limited resources. Add a few flowering plants or bushes this year and you'll be able to see the beauty begin, with birds, butterflies and blooms, then next year maybe you can add a statue or water feature. This can be repeated year after year until you have created your "masterpiece", one project at a time.

Plant Stands

Now that you are planting your plants and perhaps repotting some of them, you might want to leave some of your plants on the porch or deck. I found some great new plant stands that you might want to check out.
These plant stands give that old world formal look. I can't wait to place my Boston Ferns on them. What plant would you use?

Garden Statues

This spring while working in my back yard and seeing all the tulips and daffodils coming up, I’ve decided to change my decor in one area. We are fortunate to have a good sized yard in the back, so we can actually make it look like we are entering another room as we move about the garden.I think I would like to add a wind mill and dutch kids do you think it will look okay? Maybe I'll even add a park bench to sit and view the surrounding area.
