The corn is getting ready to be harvested, so I think I'll cut down some stalks to make my annual "Corn Shock". Then I'll find some pumpkins and gourds to place at the base. This is a tradition at our house. It signifies the end of summer and the beginning of fall. Our crops are being harvested, for which we are grateful and we begin preparing for Thanksgiving.
